Position: Wellness Director/RN

Wage: Depending on experience and certification(s)

Hours: Part-time, general M-F business hours and PRN evenings/weekends, on-call

Job Requirements: Lenity Nursing team expectations are to provide exceptional resident care services to ensure innovative, quality care for all residents in a pleasant, courteous, and respectful manner; while promoting and supporting resident rights, overall well-being, and service satisfaction.

Qualified candidates must possess motivation, skill, and ability to learn and adapt to daily demands and circumstances; contribute his/her knowledge and experience to the team and demonstrate strong work ethics. Incumbent must possess core nursing skills and ability with general infection control (COVID) and personal protective equipment (gloves, masks, hand hygiene) and other nursing practices to efficiently coordinate, supervise, and instruct residents and staff, which may include clinical support and recommended changes; such as, medication management, health and safety assessment, analysis, planning, hands-on evaluation, intervention, and instruction to ensure compliance in overall resident care practices and responsibilities, according to Company protocol and federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Skillful and effective interpersonal communication techniques.

Proven management skills and ability to oversee workflows, disciplinary action/consequences, and follow-through of the care giver team, while promoting a positive team building atmosphere. Proficiency with medical terminology, computer literacy, and general office skills. Seasoned ability to swiftly interpret, process, and take appropriate action from written and verbal communications, instruction, and established protocols, such as, physician orders. Must be able to pass a background check and possess HIPAA training. State of Idaho unencumbered License. As required by government regulations, incumbent willing to be routinely COVID tested – vaccination preferred.

Preferred: Previous 3 to 5 year’s work experience in a geriatric environment or other related work experience. Minimum 2 year’s supervisory experience; clinical and business writing skills; resident electronic recordkeeping experience completing resident assessments; care plans; and medication distribution; and Microsoft Office skills a plus.
